the bleed port is opened via an allen key not by unthreading the nut on the nipple, so it is much easier to open/close it without dislodging the syringe. especially if you are doing it alone.

yes it works. i have br8100 on the back of my st 9150 set, uses the same hose/fittings, easier to bleed makes it worth it imo.

there are so many 11spd di2 rd. i feel like i'll be able to find new stock for at least like 5 years. whether my inbred consumerism allows me to verify this idk, but i think this isn't really an issue in the timescales i operate in at least.

if you want mountains/great road riding you'll want to be on the east side of tennessee. the mtb in chatt and also knoxville is very good. there is a really cool mtb ultra there (TNGA) and a good road scene as well. when i lived in chatt i had like 7 30m climbs within 30m of my door, could ride to multiple trail centers, etc.

nashville is especially bad. most of tennessee is pretty rural. i lived in chattanooga for 2 years and thought the cycling was great. what it lacks in bike infra it makes up for in fewer cars than a major city.

i think 48t is the absolute max, and is maybe iffy? 44t i think is the stated max which is pretty silly imo.

you can. i run a quarq dfour with 50-34 9100 rings on it. i think 52-36 doesn't work but compact rings do fit. not even an extra spacer required. clearance issue is ofc at the chainstay

hey all. a new mtb park is opening near to me that i'd like to ride at. a bit far to ride to, esp since it is a downhill oriented park, and i'm disinclined to drive if i can avoid it. are there any reasonable cargo bike solutions for transporting a mtb? i've done janky stuff before where i've just strapped it down to my omnium mini, but is there any convenient way to do it on, say, a bullitt?

garbaruk says pretty specifically that the cages are only for the 1x grx rd. i was unaware of a way to extend the cage length of the grx 2x rd.

i've also run 50-34 x 11-40 for a number of years, first with mechanical using a roadlink at first and then a tanpan with an xtr sgs rd which worked pretty well. w/ di2 i used an rx rd and also the grx 2x rd. i think with all these setups except the tanpan you can tell that the rd is over capacity, and if you are descending chunky stuff while in the big ring + small cogs you get a lot of chain slap plus occasional chain drops which i can't help but think would be avoided by a longer cage rd + some extra tension.

rodeo makes a special low mount hanger so not an issue i don't think

seat-tube is square. do think the few people i've seen with gravel bikes and mtb di2 2x i've seen have all had band-on clamps which obviously work fine. i was just hoping there was some direct mount adapter type thing someone had made. doesn't seem to be though.
