I feel like these days groupsets are getting quite silly on prices, even if there still are some good deals to be had.
But anyway, i look at it more as youve scraped together a nice groupset, but its easier to swap frames than it is to rebuild a new groupset, and if you wanted to still have a steel or alu frame theres lots of choice and good prices.

Frame is a beaut' but i would upgrade the frame and keep the gear.

Ive used them a couple of times, always a useful and inexpensive thing to have around.

I was thinking these things, i think they come with some rubber grommets, or you can use old inner tubes.
They bend around your stays and give you accessory mounts.

I do have a pair of the tubus extension plates for racks though and they are very useful also.

I think its Tubus that do add on pinholes for accessories. They are pretty cheap so worth a try

I'm actually very tempted by a c40 in this color at the moment and i have a record carbone groupe and some zipps to one side to achieve a similar result 😬

I bodged a pair of raceblades with extra Raw flaps, means that I get good coverage on the front and the plastic/pvc flaps you get are nice and flexible so can sometimes scrape the ground on steps or certain small curbs but as they don't follow the wheel the just flap back into place.

Still searching if ever anyone has any leads for me ;)

Here is one of my current wips.
Still need to find a feont carbon derailleur (campy prices being qtupid and all) and i've got a rzar derailleur with carbon cage im servicing at the moment.
Still not sure on zipps or low profiles because it is technically a climbing bike...

Ah nice, i had this problem woth one of the later 10s groupsets with the ultrashift that would really do much unless it was cabled up as they changed the mechanism.
Once on the bike it worked fine but off it i couldn't always get all the gears going up a'd down without any cables.

Ive tried mostly switching out 9s record parts with 9s chorus parts but i guess they were too old to have any compatibility.
The project was putting a long cage from a mirage onto a chorus body using ti bolts... But even the length of the cage hanger bolt wasnt the right length...

Yeh interesting, strange that the cable would snap, i guess he cut it short when removing them from the bike.
If you cant take them apart then i dont know what you can do, if you have a local and trustworthy shop you can take it to them and see if they know if its fixible, if you're lucky they might know the problem and give you some advice.

@Eeyorecore interesting hack that, ive tried swapping record parts to non record parts and often ran into problems with there being small tolerance issues making neither compatible.
Ive tried mostly with the 9speed ti stuff and record 10s.

A paire of gold shamal ultras or something would set it off nicely, maybe too much but kind of feel like it could go well here

Never played with a set of shifters this modern, a shame if campagnolo engineered them to not be fixable.
Usually no clicks is the sign of the flat coil spring not being housed properly or a mount being broken.

Maybe as a last ditch attempt before taking apart you can put a cable in there, if possible, put it under tension and see if shifting with tension helps the mechanism out at all.

Otherwise no idea ...

Yes exactly, as you can see below, just slightly outward than a standard 110 bcd, but i used a chainring bolt and it works perfectly and it holds just fine !

ps. yes i did change the bearings and add the other bolts of course ;)
