You have definitely got the bug. It costs about €30 to sign up for a place and the rest of the money is paid once you qualify. I have a feeling that it is full but there might be a waiting list option. I think if you wait you won't get a place but I'm not sure.
I'm doing the Invictus kent 400 or Daunstey Dawdle 400 (or both if I feel OK) and then Windsor Chester Windsor on 1 June.

I thought I read that somewhere. The date windows overlap so I suppose you could do a 300 on 16 March and then 200km on 28th April etc if you really wanted. Or just ride 4x600s so no one is in any doubt that you have qualified.
The Audax UK website says the time frames are:
The dates for these qualifying BRM events in the UK in 2019 (dates may vary from country to country) are:
200km: Saturday 12th January - Sunday 28th April 2019
300km: Saturday 16th March - Sunday 26th May 2019
400km: Saturday 13th April - Sunday 2nd June 2019
600km: Saturday 4th May - Sunday 23rd June 2019 -

I've used one (https://www.carradice.co.uk/bags/saddle-packs-sqr-bags/super-c-sqr-slim) for credit card touring for quite a few trips. I think it's pretty much perfect. No fussing about with straps, it is easy to carry off the bike and it doesn't swing on the bike. The only thing that you have to do is put some gorilla tape around your seat post to make it clamp nice and tight and not damage your seat post. I didn't have a bar bag for those trips but I have a rando bag now and I would take that for future trips. I like the look of the more traditional Carradice bags but I've used this to carry laptops, locks, shoes etc and I can't really fault it.
I used the Restrap saddle bag for two commutes to test it out before a credit card tour. It was not great. The outside thing developed a hole as it rubbed on the seat tube collar, the dry back ripped and it swayed about. I sold it and bought an Apidura for the trip instead.
I used the Apidura cross country seat pack to cycle to France on a five-day credit card tour. I had a bar bag too. It packed nice and neatly, was robust, not too much sway but was a pain to get on and off. I've still got it as it would be better off road than the Carradice but I've not used it since.
Edit: The 16 litre capacity is spot on. It carries loads of stuff.

No. Amey just wasn't following the signs!
From Lennard Road, you go down the bike path where the roots are pushing up the path by a little stream, come out onto the horrible industrial estate, then turn right and Lower Sydenham Station is right in front of you and then turn left along that little pathway alongside the tracks. You come out by that pub (can't remember it's name) and cross the busy road on Bell Green. Then you are on Waterlink Way.
I'm sure that you would have cycled that way before.

I'm in. I'll probably meet people at Elmers End on the way out.
