Some oddments to clear out, one of you chaps may have need, not I! Two c/p front hangers, one the Mafac q/r type, handy! Single Mafac, pair Weinmann c/p inner cable yokes. Pair external cable clamps with unusual bird engraving. Decent chamfered bb lockring, undamaged. Rear derailleur cable stop. Pump peg.

Haha yes I had a couple of those BX GTis in the 80s – they went like the clappers. Three speeding offences on the M3...nearly got another one cos late on the way to the driver re-education class in Basingstoke. Speeding was rife on motorways at that era, 90mph+ all too common. Much better now really.

Goodness I had a Carpenter just like that second one, in dark green, from EJ Barnes in Westbourne Grove. But it was too small for me, so Derek found me another, more modern Carpenter, that I rode for years, decades in fact. Gone now though, just like the bike shop.

This has been lying in the bottom of a cupboard for years. No idea if it's any good. Steerer is 18cm and has star nut fitted. Spares or repair, as they say — take it away from my place in Kilburn NW6, pay nowt.

Ah, does the Suburban Breakout 100 that Nick Bloom used to organise still run?
Alas, no. The cafe for the depart in East Finchley has changed hands and is now a shish place and does not welcome cyclists. And I think he found it hard to get volunteers for the midway checkpoint. It was the only formal event run by our club, Central London CTC. But Nick still leads the occasional midweek clubride.

Intended for mudguard clearance. I suggest using Shimano BR-R650 (as I did on my similar Yates bike). For price:performance, nothing comes close. I'd also suggest putting guards on. A wet arse is no way to have fun.
