Don't suppose you have any reggae or hip hop do you? @HarmanMogul
More of the former than the latter — I was often around Island Records and as a matter of fact spent a very interesting afternoon one-to-one with Bob Marley at Basing Street Studios. It's a pity that I got so fed up with the cover artwork of Catch-A-Fire (cover flips open like Zippo lighter) that I binned it. Can't be many of those knocking around now.

First time post in this thread. I have a collection of rather more than 1000 LP records to sell, all my own and dating as far back as the late 1960s. Lots are from the 1970s when I was a rock music journo and got stacks of free records.
I was into 'hi-fi' early and was always careful to treat them well. Over the last 30 years such of them as I have listened to have been played on my Linn LP12. So a good number, all those that I got new, are in near-perfect condition.
My impression, trawling though this thread, is that much of my collection is not in the period or of a genre sought by today's vinyl collectors — but that may reflect the LFGSS demographic.
My question to you fellers that know this market is, is it worth my while to catalogue them and put them up for sale through Discogs? I am not looking for top $, rather just to reduce stuff in prep for moving home.
