I guess you would probably need the charging point close to where you store the bike and charge leaving the battery in situ.

Yeah I did think that, but with a 2 or 3mm metal box to encase the battery in, maybe that's not such a problem.

Where are you mounting the battery? I've seen them mounted under the deck which looks pretty neat and ideal for low centre of gravity.

Had a busy day yesterday. Started with the task of replacing the knackered Lino floor in the kitchen of our new place. To ripping out, Lino, hardboard, floorboards and joists.
Now off to Travis to get new joists and floorboards. Don’t think I’ll bother with new Lino for now…..
