Selling my trusted steel Specialized Langster. Been commuting on it for the last 8 years and it shows: Lots of paint chips and smudges, but no dents or rust.

Currently set up fixed 48x18 but has front/rear brakes and rear wheel is flip flop in case you want to run it SS – no freewheel on it though.

Size is 56, setup is original apart from
– TRP brakes
– Nitto handlebar
– Cinelli stem
– Kalloy seatpost
– MKS Sylvan Touring Pedals with cheapo straps
– Original saddle (not the Fabric in 1st pic)
– Rear wheel was replaced with a new cheapo one (double side threads)

NB Front wheel bearings are gritty. Not sure if the headset ever had a service. Expect you’d need to replace tires and brake pads.

Pick up only from E1 near Brick Lane, next week from Wednesday, ideally day time.

Like the others said, 28mm measured width is fine (I'm running 25mm Corsas on 21mm internal widths and they come to about that) but clearance on the NDS chain stay is only about 4mm on my 2018 model.

What frame size are you looking for? I'm thinking of letting my 55cm go to make space for something else...

Got a Super Acciaio in 2018 and been riding it loads since then and love it … but sometimes I yearn for more comfort (it’s pretty stiff?) and more tire clearance (25mm Corsas just about fit).

Interested in the groupset in case you’re splitting. GLWS!

I've got the same saddle, it came with a new entry level Specialized bike. It's also on other pics of OEM Specialized bikes as far as I can tell. But I agree, it looks (and feels) very different from the Comp level Power saddles.

Bike is better than any of the SS evo colourways so far...

I got the signature jacket and it's great – thin but very warm. Everything about it seems considered and well made.

Set up an R8000 FD about 10 times on a CAAD12, took it to LBS twice and still get rub. Set another one up on a different bike with nominally same chainstay length and got it working the very first time, no rub at all. Still puzzles me.
