Really need to get some bigger radiators, underfloor insulation and some new windows.
In these really cold snaps, just can't seem to get the downstairs warm in our house. Nice polished floorboards can get in the sea too. With this hyper inflation, can't actually afford to get the work done.
Our electricity and gas usage has reduced substantially year on year too but the bills, they keep going up and up whilst my wages do not! -

I've had mine for 2 plus years now and it's fabulous! Have had 11 200l batches so far in that time. Heartily recommended.

Finally went to Balham to collect the Climbing Hydrangea from my landscape Gardner mate who had it left over from a job.
Took the tube down with a large blue IKEA bag expecting to be able to go back the same way however it was twice as large as the bag so need to get a car back!
Hydrangea anomala Petiolaris. Should have some nice white flowers. -

We're about to embark on our own kitchen project. It's the tiniest galley kitchen known to man. 2m long by 1.8m wide. Have gone for gloss white IKEA Metod. The only thing we really splashed out on was the range cooker. Took 7 months from ordering to it arriving in the UK but was worth the wait I reckon.

Just finished decorating the loft room so my teenage daughter could move up there. Hadn't really touched the room in the 6 years we've been here. Seemed to take an age to do anything as everything that had been previously done had been done to a shoddy standard. Previously had no heating up there however sorted that out last year when the boiler was replaced.
Everything including the doors had been painted blue previously.
Took many coats for the blue to become white.
Downlights replaced with LED ones, switches and sockets swapped out for Gira ones. Not a bad place to study for GCSEs.
On the plus side, my sanding, caulking, filling and painting skills have definitely improved. -

If you need to remove any paint, definitely invest in a Speedheater!
You certainly won't regret it.
