Just repaired a couple of tubes after my 4th puncture this year . Fed up spending £6.50/£7/£8 a tube

I've just started using an electric moped, mainly for fun but have commuted on it a couple of times. Most of the roads have a 2o mph limit so I find it fine tbh.

I had a can of 'Alternative Currency' an East India porter I remember being pretty good !
And I've had some Verdant cask recently which was pretty decent tbf. No hype attached. Apparently when Skinners went under Verdant started putting out some cask to fill the void.

First taste after a week in the keg, Grapefruit/orange aroma. Grapefruit taste and bitter Grapefruit finish......

Was in here last Friday drinking Tiny Rebel clwb Tropicana and some cask . Not sure of price cos retirement party all paid up . But would definitely go again.

First brew of the year at the weekend. Blood orange and grapefruit IPA, a rebrew of an old recipe with a twist this time. I replaced half the grapefruit zest with blood orange zest and used Mandarina Bavaria hops (courtesy @jdmitch) in place of citra . The aroma when filling the fermenter and in the fermentation room is amazing ! The zest was frozen before adding to the fermenter.

I tried it last weekend, good but not worth the hype . The ambigram label is good though.

Currently appreciating my own Belgian/ trappist style beer. 8.4% not for a school night...

Apparently cider benefits from ageing/maturing so the plan is to leave it somewhere cool for a while.

I leave mine in the fermenter for 2 weeks then prime in bottles for another 2 weeks.

No , they went in the freezer less than 24 hrs after picking. I've done it a couple of times before with fresh hops, just thaw them out in the sun and drain off any excess water. Then use like they are green.

A friend picked these yesterday, not sure what variety though. She said they smelt like IPA. I'll stick them in the freezer until I get a chance to use them.

I can pick up this weekend if @BikeBandit drops out ?
