This was my original chainring, I had the bb replaced with something more modern and a new cotterless crank. It doesn't really notice behind the guard. It's 46 tooth in fairly good condition, there's a locking on the back.

Here's mine I won on ebay about 6 years ago for £41 !
I had trouble getting new tyres, turns out they are 650 1/2B . I wanted either brown or red but could only find black with tan sidewalls.
I changed the bars and it's had a new bb and crank.
The coaster brake is surprisingly good ,the front brake is really poor especially in the wet.
I still haven't found out what make it is .
I generally ride it in the wet and it lives outside but it's one of my favourite bikes to ride !

Christmas eve used to be the only night where the stations and depots were actually locked up and everyone home.
There are loads of places on the network that use a basic tool/key to gain access.
They did employ security supposedly!

Elephant and Castle tube station used to get done every Christmas. They would get into the sidings ,go through the trains stabled there and then walk up the tracks.

This will be my after dinner beer Christmas day.

A well known rapid transit organisation I work for once gave everyone at the depot a voucher for a free lunch one year. It was worth around £6, enough to get the Christmas lunch on offer in the Canteen. A few hours after getting it, it was cancelled because the other depot on my line wasn't offered it . Bah Humbug.

True but isn't it weird that some breweries like Brewdog and Shepherd Neame use water treatments and their beers have a certain tang to them .
