Love the bikes in this thread but the insistence on drops is a bit silly. If this woman can do Paris Brest Paris on bullhorns maybe we can accept that drop bars are a stylistic preference owing to thinking that road bikes == things that look like racing bikes. Whatever tho, I’m still going to be checking out the bikes here.

Let’s talk about Ed Milliband. Remember him? Last leader of the Labour Party. Jewish guy. Once ate a sandwich. He got monstered in the press because he said he might slightly tax businesses.
Corbyn got exactly the same treatment for much longer. And he also got much worse online, where the electoral commission has no reach at all. There isn’t a left wing leader who can satisfy the Murdochs, and without the Murdochs setting the media pattern, you’re fucked.

he was a threadshitter who only came in to argue alt-right points on the two political threads. Both those threads had a three day derail while people argued the toss with him and he refused to deviate from his 'opinion', which was a basic bitch box-set of Youtube think points. He wasn't a great forumer, and people like him fuck up the place for everyone else.

Most tech ideas are similar bullshit, it's just that Musk seems to be best at getting in the public eye, and has reached Trump-like levels of popularity in the states because of their credulous media that will literally print any bullshit. Plus he's doing SPAAAAAAACE and that helps the Americans feel like they're a cool nation that does stuff, rather than a horrific social and health care mess with an excellent media outreach.

Discussing the NHS documents is off message. The entire message from the Johnson campaign is ‘get brexit done’. There isn’t time for nuance or defending trade deals. Look on their social media and you’ll see them just saying this one thing again and again because a large proportion of the UK voters think that brexit will lead to better living conditions (spoilers: it won’t)
The day after the referendum, my dad met a guy in the local papershop who insisted that we were already out of the EU. There is no lower limit to the stupidity of people, especially when they're getting misinformed by weird media sources.
However, it's unlikely that the papers are going to give up their anti-EU bashing at this point. For one thing, what the fuck would the DM and the Telegraph print? So expect a huge amount of 'they won't let us go' style stories
