Are you looking at the fork? fork is carbon not max, it’s looks like a steel max fork to be fair. Anything else that’s making you think it’s max?

Frame was resprayed at Argos in a stunning pearlescent white
Few really small marks and a little rub to the chainstay but other than that it’s perfect

It’s a really nice frame and the paint is quite lovely, hope it’s a bargain for someone

Tyres/Wheels switched out for some conti’s on open pros with hope hubs, loud hubs=better?
Mudguards, rack and bottle cages removed for now for a lighter more road than touring look.
Just to now change the stem and saddle and I think it will be good to go. That said she hasn’t actually seen it yet @Jingle_Jangle

Find a Chris king drop set 4 if you really want a Chris king in the Brooklyn, nice compromise with hacking your v1 up
I just found one on eBay and put it in my bmx, standard campy 45x45 bmx style headset
