If your local league is anything like mine. The range of riders will be massive. Proper beginners, to those who race at a national level. Then people like me in-between

They went on my bontrager carbon rims no problem. Must be a lucky tyre/rim combo. I get the feeling the stans grail rims on my pit bike may be tougher

How did you attach it?

Forward facing low down child carrying is the big one. Carrying a little one on an omnium is I'd say 80%good. The fact that the bars punch them in face in a crash is a big downside

Anyone got any experience getting a bullit on the roof of a hatchback?

I'm 95% sure I'm going to sell my omnium and buy a bullit as the family needs have changed a bit.

Giving the mixes a go.merlin have them at £24 a tyre so just ordered a set for both bikes.

Interesting. I'd not looked at the wets before. Did you try the mixes? Looks like they could be a good front / rear combo

What is the go to mixes condition tyre these days? I've run a combo of the michelin jet power and mud over the last couple of seasons and really like them...but they are so soft that i get maybe 3 or 4 races out of a rear tyre. I can't afford that attrition rate

I made this hat 3 years ago. But it was a tad too small. Decided to stretch it out a bit a as sun hat for this weather.

Filled it full of water and forced it on my head for a few hours. Now it fit likes a glove/well fitting hat.
