It's actually green, just hard to tell in the pics.
I like the silver finishing kit but it will eventually go to make way for some bling integrated carbon stuff. The fork only really works with cables inside the bar, so il have to get some stick on cable guides for now. I want to make sure I'm happy with the fit set up before I spend a fortune on carbon bling. (I will add the matching zipp cages for now )
Groupset will be rival axs, I've got cassette and rear mech, just waiting on shifters. I've got an old 10 speed sram red crank that im tempted to use as its so light. But not sure. It might not look right. Half tempted by a middleburn.
Wheels...not sure probably carbon 29er rims. Maybe a Son 28 hub for future dynamo options.
Tyres. Not sure. I've used goodyear connector 50s before and like them.

The old one definitely was.
Not really bothered if it is a catalogue frame though. The price was decent and on cycleschme so probably cheaper all in than buying direct from China. Plus bike shop back up, warranty etc.
Having had a look around, I can't find a direct to consumer frame that's the same.
Should be fun.

Was away all weekend so not much real progress.
I did start playing around with designs for the sofa though (may go wider than pictured, maybe 1500mm). Nothing complicated and made of ply with hardwood legs. Will order some foam and upholster the cushions.
Based on the Hans Wegner daybed, with storage instead of the folding bed.

It does a bit doesn't it.
DIY question. The floor slopes down about 6 inches from back to front. Levelling it will cost me a fortune, am I an idiot to just lay down damp proofing/ insulation boards and then chipboard over it, even though it's sloping?
I could just paint the floor, but I really want to insulate it if I can. Best case result is a steady enough temp and humidity to keep acoustic guitars out there.
