Chris King 1 1/8 External Headset.
Campagnolo Centaur 115mm BB (gives spot on chainline).
Sugino 75 cranks. 165mm. Fair bit of rub but great condition structurally.
Aarn chainring. 48t. Perfect condition.
Cranks and chainring together (with Sugino chainring bolts)
- Wheelset. Royce hubs laced to TB14 rims. No brake used on the rear, front has plenty of life left in it.
- Zipp service course bars and stem. 6 degree, 120mm. 40cmm bars.
- SRAM red front caliper and s900 levers.
- Thomson seat post. 31.6. Some scratches.
- Thomson seat post collar. 34.9. Brand new condition.
- Selle Italia Flite Original. Titanium rails. Brand new condition.

Yeah, the guilty pleasure of deathcore is strong sometimes! I’ve got a bit of a knuckle-dragging playlist for when the mood strikes which includes a lot of Fit For An Autopsy, Lorna Shore, Aversions Crown, Justice For The Damned, Humanity’s Last Breath, Shadow Of Intent and Sylosis.
Typing that reminded me just how awful Deathcore band names tend to be!

How (outside of my workplace) being nice about things doesn’t ever seem to get results. This week I’ve had to get really shitty with our builders, insurers and some delivery people just to get them to do the jobs I’m paying them for. I hate that people push you to the point where you have nothing left to try but aggression and threats - and then magically things are done properly. I hate being aggressive and confrontational - why can’t you just do your fucking job as agreed?

Yeah I’ve been trying to make my mind up on the caliper (whether polished silver or grey) - think you’re right the DA9000 could look nice.

Only had the DDs in black, and decided in the end that all silver would work better, so did a switcheroo on the cranks and bb.

Yeah, they are matching TB14s, just one has had a brake on. Agree though, needs a new set at some point!

Some pretty horrendous hours at work and the last cycle of homeschooling etc has left little time for bieks, but the Pretorius tarck is now up and running.
Fit is dialled in and just awaiting delivery of a nicer sprocket.
Forgot how much I love the fork on this one, especially as it has our dog running up one of the hills!
Those with photography skills please look away now, I’m afraid the only way I could think to capture the detail (e.g. different types of glitter and fade in the sun and clouds on the fork, and the various polished details in the frame) was using portrait mode on the iPhone. Criminal no doubt.

Lockdown skidder project has finally come together. Had a quick shakedown this morning through the woods and lanes which was as fun as I’d hoped. Awaiting a fancier sprocket and lockring, and a bit of tweaking to do with the saddle and fit.
Has completely achieved what I intended it to do though - slow build through the lockdowns and puts a big smile on my face.
Need to take better pictures once the fit is dialled in.

Thanks - yep clearly searching for the wrong terms as everything disc was coming up. May be an idea to run a disc brake up front in that case. It’s quite a modern beefy frame so the audax style might look a bit odd.
