Is a braze on fd plus clamp on adapter the same as a clamp on fd?

Yes, that's similar to my workings. The monthly payment is an overhead. 2 years servicing and 4 years warranty included so additional costs should be limited.

Well, I've signed up for a new car on PCP. Ask me how it worked out in 4 years.

Obviously it won't be the cheapest way to own a car, but it should be low hassle.

To be fair to the sales guy, he was at pains to point out that in 4 years I will essentially be in a position of not owning anything, as opposed to now where I own an 8 year old Passat.

Yes, LEDs flash if you go off route but there is no TBT at all on a strava route. I don't really mind having it on the map screen most of the time.

You can hide other screens that are not of interest to minimise the time spent scrolling through screens to get to and from the one you want and then back to the map.

giffgaff have some budget phones - I've bought a few from them and they've been reasonable on price.
