Found a nice wheelset for the Giant. Mavic 217 rims with a Mavic Front hub and a Hügi Compact Rear Hub from the early 90s. The Hügi compact was (correct me if I’m wrong) the first hub with a ratchet system which makes for a great but slighlty obnoxious freehub sound. Certainly makes the R45s on my Time sound tame in comparison...

Wow, that’s peak bling! It needs a pair of these though:

And I’d try to route the brake cables behind the bars for a more elegant curve.
Do you know whether Campagnolo offered those rims with the 50th decals? My guess would be that they were labelled up by a third party, much like the many 50th stems which weren’t official Campagnolo offerings. -

Slightly reminiscent of a ritchey break-away... literally.
I bought a cheap Dahon-patent-type folder a couple days ago. It’s nice to have standard v-brake mounts and bsa bb threading for future upgrades. Stripped it an gave it a few upgrades: pedals, brake pads, derailleur, freewheel & saddle. I’ll probably change the cranks and the steering column in the medium term future but it’s already quite fun to ride. -
Gotta love that cockpit... Only 2k -

Luescher is wondering the same, from 2:00 onwards... -
Entertaining read, cheers!
@boredom I've seen that one before but (luckily) had already forgotten about it. -

Probably a repost but I was quite shocked to hear that a friend of mine backed this project. Quite stunning to see that people pledge over 10 million $ for a POS project like that. The indiegogo page is pure cringe gold...
