Didn't realise these guys were still going. I saw them in 2008/9, I think also in Brighton. Still one of the best gigs I've been to.

Peter Anderson is having a good day. He's the best rested and has covered a lot more ground than the others in the front group. MR has gone a bit further but he's been out a lot longer without sleep and it looks like he's slowing down a bit. I'd expect PA to pull out a bit of a lead in the next few hours. -
Assume you mean vertical rather than horizontal, but clugs aren't supposed to hold weight. They just hold the front wheel still and the rear wheel rests on the ground.
e: just googled and it looks like you can use then horizontally and hold the back wheel. In what way isn't it holding the bike up? Is it too loose?

The 4-legged ones on Amazon are better imo. Having the opposite legs being 180 degrees means you can just pull them apart to extend it. The 5 legged ones are a bit more awkward, not a huge deal but something that would annoy me every time I set the stand up. Amazon ones should be about the same price too.

This is a cool site for following lightning. The little white circle radiating out from a strike is the sound wave, it's pretty accurate IME.

Looks like it's in the paint, like it's had a bit of tape stuck on it to me. That dark line below the lug on the seat tube looks more like a crack but it's hard to say from 1 pic online. Easier to tell in person and sand it back if it looks sus.
