Nice. How long does a linocut take you generally? I've only tried it a few times but found it very satisfying. Especially after i found out about that lino that's softer than normal and far less hard work to cut. I tried a 2-colour lino cut once, which I really liked the look of. I have a friend who does lino and wood cuts - he tends to do 3-4 colour reductive cuts, which I don't think i'd have the balls to do!

Driving as some sort of a human right, does seem to override consequences of misuse in a way that seems strange when you compare it to similar things like that.
I was talking to a car-tuning friend recently about performance cars on the road. We actually ended up both agreeing that having ridiculously powerful and fast cars legal for use on shared roads is nuts when you think about it. But it's normal so there they are.

It's all wood construction - no brickwork at all. It sits on a grid of 12 concrete 'piers'. The walls are, from the inside --> out, Plasterboard, OSB, cellotex insulation (75mm), ply, breather membrane, battens (with air gap), cladding.
It's officially under 2500mm tall (ahem.....) so no planning permission was required. As long as no one measures the height too closely. (I originally designed it to be 2400mm but ended up raising the pitch of them roof last minute so I think it's around 2520mm now).
Happy to give you any more details if it helps.
