Overwhelm is an irritating word. Whelm means to overcome, submerge, engulf. Which makes the 'over' bit a little superfluous.

That's what I've been fearing. Swell in youth support would presumably be largely in cities, uni towns and generally places that would already vote labour anyway? Rural towns where their right wing mums and dads still live largely unaffected.
