Having only just built this up as a beaterey pub machine, I've had to instantly dismantle to make room for my wife's shiny new bike :-/

It's been rubbed down and re-sprayed by me. I didn't do enough coats of lacquer so it's still a bit matt in places. You can have the rest of the can if you want.

Bottom brackets fine. Headset is fine. Seatpost is rough but fine.

Forks aren't OG but they're a lovely sparkly purple.

Perfect for a cheap SS runabout! The only catch is I'm in Bristol and I'm not really a huge fan of posting frames.

I've had pretty poor communication from Tredz for my current order. When I made the order, I wasn't told one of the things wasn't in stock. A week later and I only know that's why the order is delayed as I've phoned them up several times - no emails, nothing. happy to wait for stuff, but I'd like to actually know my order hasn't just disappeared into the ether.

It'll have humble beginnings: I've got a Fuji tread with sora and I'm swapping the frames out basically. Went for the straggler as I'd have plenty of options beyond that, in the future.

Looks great. I've got a straggler frame in the post at the moment - much excite. Couldn't get a green in my size though :-(

Can anyone help on a rough value for a Fuji Tread 1.3 frame and forks (and BB/headset/seatpost fwiw)?

Pic isn't mine, but same model etc. Alu frame, carbon forks. Decent condition. Parts are going on a Straggler. Have no idea what to expect for frame.

Thanks for the suggestions all. I'll pick up some modern standard - someone else suggested that too. Cheap enough for my needs I reckon.

Will investigate, thanks. Someone told me Ocado do a well cheap and -servicable- medium roast that's ok. I'm dubious - i've struggled to find supermarket beans that weren't undrinkable bitter.

So, my dad drinks loads of crap cafetière coffee - he's totally un fussy and generally brews the shit out of it. When he comes round here, I get cleaned out of my nice(er) stuff as he uses so much coffee to make a pot.

My question is: can anyone recommend a half decent but cheap bean I can just buy a load of and have as a dad-supply for when he's round? Ideally I'd like to be able to put up with it too, so can't be too crap, although I'd aeropress it as I can't stand cafetières.

It does seem to tick all the boxes and yes, would i be happy with the kaff in comparison? I suppose I've got to remind myself i'm not going to be the main user, though!
Weight's no issue, to a certain degree, for what the bike will be for. It'll be carrying load most of the time, so a kg or 2 either way won't make much difference.

EDIT: So it turns out 'people on the internet said its the best option' + 0% finance did the trick. Now I've just got to persuade my other half that the groupset i'm swapping on to it doesn't do the frame justice and needs upgrading..........
