SOLD SOLD SOLD - VISP TRX790 (F&F only) £30>>£25:

58cm with planet x pro carbon forks
Headset / bottom bracket / stem included
Paintwork is fairly scratchy in places from being locked etc up over the years. There's some deep scratches on top tube from where some poobag tried to nick it. Forks are in better condition with only one or two little scratches.
Note: I can't get the bottom bracket out because I am too weak, so that is also included - it spins fine. I was assured that it is removable last time it was serviced.
SOLD SOLD SOLD - 1980s Peugeot Course 60cm full bike £100>>£95:

Frame: Carbolite rad orange pearlescent paintwork. Paintwork isn't great in places but nothing too awful given its age. Height: 60 cm c-t. Top tube: 58 cm c-c. When I bought it a few years ago I didn't realise the black tape on the top tube was concealing a bit of surface rust. This hasn't got worse since.
Paint:

Simplex friction gears
CLB-Peugeot brakes
Maillard pedals
Stronglight cranks (left arm is missing dustcap on the bolt)
Shimano aero R400 brake levers. I've still got the original drilled mafac brake levers which will be included (they look lovely but i found them painful and not terribly effective)
Wheels recently replaced: generic hubs / rims with the original maillard sprocket
Michelin classic 25mm tyres they've done <50miles

picking up something second hand may well be your best bet. keep an eye out in the classifieds for complete bikes that might do the trick, and i suggest you get this post moved to the wanted section.
depending on the model of the pendleton bike you may also be able to simply swap the frame for something more lightweight and build a new bike using the remaining parts - wheels / cranks / brakes saddle etc from the pendleton. lots of help available here if you decide to go down this route.

from brother cycles' facebook:
Sneak peak at a very special 2019 Allday - custom built by the good guys at @sbccycles
.
The new Allday now features increased tyre clearances and removeable canti brake bosses - >making it an even more versatile machine. Available in Black and this limited edition splatter >paintjob!
.
Available on pre-sale from Monday 8th April - keep your eyes peeled for further info 👀 -
Would really like to do this, having done it solo in the pouring rain last easter - although I've never done a checkpointed event before. Earning myself a badge to go with last year's fridge magnet memento would be grand!

Has anyone reported driver dickery to Royal Mail before? Is it worth the effort?
I was approaching a red light this evening when the driver of a HGV Royal Mail lorry did a close pass and then slammed on their brakes for the red.
The driver knew exactly what he was doing and just kept saying ‘your lot don’t own the road you know’.
I will report it to roadsafe, although I’m a bit worried as after having words with him I rolled myself over the stop line to make sure I was well out of his way once the lights went green again. Will it be ok if I explain this was for my safety?
I’ve got footage from front and rear cameras, they pick up his reg and fleet number (or whatever they call it).

bank holiday price drop on both.
