I bought a Cinelli Pinocchio stem because it was £10 in the planet x sale, I've just tried to install it and seem to have stripped the hex bolt on the top cover. I managed to get the stem off, took it apart and am slightly confused how it's supposed to work, the whole top bit seems to move independently to the bolt, so twisting the top red cap doesn't tighten the stem, yet I can't seem to get it off to get to the top of the bolt. Am I supposed to be able to unscrew the red top cap from the black bit that goes into the top of the stem?
This appears to have happened to others:

I've had a right nightmare with receiving parcels here in Germany for this but should finally have everything I ordered two weeks ago by Monday and then should just have to build it up.
I also made a massive noob error and ordered BB30 force 22 cranks so had to order another set and ended up with Rival 22's as they were all that I could find at the time.
Here's the frame on RS21s I'll be using as training wheels for now.

I just posted a frame and some components to myself in Berlin from London using parcel2go.
It cost £25 insured up to £200, dropped off at the post office at 17:00 last Tuesday and was delivered yesterday. Obviously you can pay more for it to be guaranteed 3 days but it's expensive.
Nothing extra to pay but ensure you're specific with size and weight and make sure the sender packs it like it's made of china.

Sorry for the slow progress on this! Finally got the frame and some components home to Berlin!
According to the S/N the frame was made in September 1999 and it is pretty much perfect, it's beautiful!
Crankset was delivered yesterday to London, it was supposed to come when I was there last week but I'll have to get it when I'm back in two weeks.
Determined to have it finished before August so I can get a few nice months of riding in before the harsh Berlin winter.

Apologies for dragging up a dead thread, I have a question re:shipping a frame.
I am looking at shipping a frame to Germany, the usual parcel aggregators have a max length and depth size of 3m, however the bike box I have is 135x22x76 and falls out of this limit.
The box is too big for the frame anyway, does anybody have any suggestions on either where to get a smaller box (would lbs have smaller boxes?) or where I might find some way of shipping this without the size restriction?
EDIT: Action Bikes hooked me up. Sorted.
