Rode my first fixed 300 today as a DIY. Left home at 5h30, went to Cambridge (fell off in a corner at km 60 because of a thin layer of mud on the road -_-), then to Northampton (ft. all the headwind), had amaaazing coffees at Yellow Bourbon Coffee Roasters, then went back to London (with an additional kilo of beans in the saddle bag). Nice day for it, and nice weather apart from the 80km of headwind between Cambridge and Northampton. Next time I'll probably go directly to Northampton though, or maybe even try mail order :D
Also I rode through Milton Keynes on the way back, this place is weird.

I think I'll enter the Waveney Wander in Suffolk on the 26th of November and ride to the start from North London to turn it into a 200. Anyone interested in coming along or is everybody busy chasing crazy AAA goals?

Ah, that's good to know... I'd have imagined the roads would be fairly quiet and there's nothing I like less than a busy, narrow A or B road. Same questions as @hippy then.
There's also the 1000 Cymru next year which just look silly. Oh and I'd be keen on giving a go at the Wessex SR if it runs again... too many rides >_>
