Due to change in plans these are up for sale.. giant 27.5 / 650b sxc-2 disc wheelset, 6 bolt avid discs, tubeless valves and 42mm WTB resolute tyres - done 40 miles.. running tubeless.. front is bolt through but has a we adapter fitted.. come with skewers too.

That looks great, what size are your tyres? I have a holdsworth elan which has clearance for 28mm tyres, put in onto 650b with WTB 42mm knobbly tyres but it's just too tight.. would this have any more clearance?

I got this at the weekend, really happy with it. Miyota movement, Sapphire crystal. The strap is came on was rubbish so stuck it on the 22mm brown leather nato I have. Not as blue in the flesh, but nice contrast to the black sub's I have..

Bianchi Columbus TSX frame, campag record 22 speed, zero wheels, deda finishing kit.. did 40 miles on Sunday morning and it was great..

what height would this suit

I'm after a medium / 56cm CX frame with enough clearance for 42mm 650B wheels.. I built up a holdsworth Elan but the wheels are too tight at the back stays.. it has clearance for 28mm 700c tyres.. Could do the Holdsworth frame as a trade / swap.. Must be disc compatible.. and not too spendy..

Any other makes of CX tyre / knobbly tyre in 42mm ish for 650b?

Just as an update.. I got a set of cheapie 27.5inch wheels (Giant S cx-2) and fitted some Continental Ride Tour 42mm tyres.. they fit ok with about 5mm each side and a bit more up top..

I still use it though :-(.. only for ring shots at the odd wedding

I suppose 33mm might be ok, I would just be wary of the overall diameter dropping and my BB and cranks coming too close to the ground.

Nice setup, I generally use 35mm f/2 and 85mm f/1.8 on my D750.. I have a 50mm sigma macro, but I never use it that much..

Sounds stupid, but does a 2" tyre actually measure 2".. will wait till they come and have a rough fit.. my frame has max clearance of 28mm on 700c..

I haven't received the wheels yet, but measuring 320mm from the axle the there is 48mm rear and 51mm front clearance.. would 2" tyres fit? or maybe need something a bit smaller?
