No, its a factory set indentation on the seat tube, not uncommon on aluminium frames to accommodate triple chainsets. Present on all 2012 Allez models.

Allez 2012 frameset. Slightly rough headset included, hangar included, seat post and clamp included, 2x cages included, bb needs replacing, superficial scrapes but structurally perfect.

Go and speak to a Specialized store directly, they can order you the exact headset you need, I think I was quoted £20-30.

Trust me, Allez headsets are a minefield and you'll waste hours online trying to find the right one.

Anyone got any suggestions for a nice little compact point and shoot I can sling on my back for longer rides, that will stay in place to do some half serious speeds in comfort but also takes a decent landscape for the 'gram? Sick of fumbling around with zips and baggies to get the 6S out.
