It came with the f+f so not totally sure, but looks like a match yeah.
So, crown race and something else?
Edit: the upper cap is rounded unlike that one so probably this

I've noticed some play in the headset of a bike I've just put together and can't place it with certainty. The play is in the lower part, i.e the bottom bearing area and doesn't go away with increased load from the top nut.
There doesn't appear to be a race on the fork - is there always one or is there a direct mount type system?
the bearing itself feels smooth but maybe has a minor amount of play (less than I can feel when the fork is in place, however) - is this normal?
Should I purchase new bearings, a race, or will I need a whole new headset?

From the feel I think this is probably what's happened. I've emailed them and got this explanation, with an offer to return them for another set of they don't settle after a few rides, so that's that I'll try.
"The bearings used are high grease fill, SKF bearings which means they will appear a little tight to begin with. The seals used on the rear hub can cause some friction to begin with too, this means they keep more dirt etc out but both the seals and bearings will bed in after some use."

I bought some wheels from the recent superstar sale, and they have arrived with quite stiff bearings. The front even feels like it has notches... Is this normal for for brand new wheels? Will they bed in and be fine?
Another set of wheels I've had from them don't have any issues spinning out the box so I'm worried it's a defect. They're their V6 hub so sealed bearings. I'm half worried some part has been poorly machined and may never be right.
Thanks

Does anyone have feel strongly that I shouldn't direct plant broad beans at this time of year? I've been a little too busy to keep up with the allotment recently and wondering whether it'd get more developed plants by direct planting now or sowing into deeper pots and planting out in a few weeks. London based.

The decathlon one comes with a shim that allows you to use it in 1 1/8 threaded - I think you can see it in the final photo here https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/headset-damper-stem/_/R-p-423
I've used the shim with a velo orange quill stem for about a year now without issue
Been on the lookout for a carradice style saddlebag for a while, but ideally not carradice brand as I don't think the material ages well - anyone have anything around? Would be supported by a bagman mount (non-qr).
Thanks,
Phil
