Buy the auto. You will always regret it if you don't.
Difference in servicing is gonna be about £100 ish , but then factor in the cost of battery and reseal @ £80 ish every two years or so ........
Having said that I may have a quartz one coming in soon so if you choose that one give me a shout.

After really falling for the looks and feel of the preowned 36mm oyster perpetual I bought in ( and subsequently sold ) recently I was really close to pulling the trigger on one we had available, I just liked the Matt finish and how simple it was without the cyclops date.
Well that was until this arrived today, and have changed my mind. The perfect all rounder.

Stopwatches/pocket watches are a bit out of my comfort zone.
Some seem to be ridiculously cheap and some off the scale pricey……

He wants £4500 for Speedy and £3500 for seamaster.

I'll be very surprised if they honour the price as it was last February.
