Well I've just pulled the trigger on this one.
Been lusting over a thinline tele for the better part of the last 4 years, secretly hoping Thomann would deliver something for cheap. Hell yeah they did.
Will try to give a detailed review. I suck at guitar though so won't be very professional.

SunRace has an ok 1x specific square taper crankset, I think it's called FCM800. I've seen it on quite some builds and used it myself with a SunRace CRMS chainring. Tad ugly, tad heavy, but cheap.
Otherwise just buy any old 110 BCD LX/DX/XT/whatever you can find. After '93-94 they switched to 94 BCD, watch out as the chainring options are going to be extremely limited (mostly Stridsland only).

Derailleur hanger alignment tool arrived today. Turns out I actually managed to straighten the hanger very well with the hub axle the other day, only needed some minor adjustments and now it's spot on.
Installed the 105 RD back on, its cage looks a bit crooked but it works well, indexing is fine too. Gonna leave it like that and get on with life.
Now slow and steady hunt begins for the best price/value stem and seatpost. This Kalloy UNO one is sold out everywhere in 100 mm length unfortunately, it would be perfect (after applying some acetone on the logo) and it's less than 11 Euros. Hope it comes back in stock somewhere.

Yesterday I put the Puch on the repair stand and checked whether the cage of the RD or the derailleur hanger was bent. The hanger was visibly fucked. I sort-of bent it back (carefully, with a solid hub axle), then I ordered a cheap-ish Ztto alignment tool (and a pair of master link pliers while at it), just to be sure. Should be delivered soon.
I installed a spare 700CX derailleur, checked shifting, it's quite perfect now, no chain noise, no twisted cages. It actually looks good on the bike, but I'll put the 105 back on once I perfect the hanger alignment. And the 105 pedals arrived today, they are awesome, great condition too.
I highly prefer natural wood finishes too.
