Removed stuff, then installed a 700CX RD for chain tensioning purposes. It works well and the 39-13 gearing is adequate. Turns out the chain is hella worn out though, will replace that soon. Gonna leave the drivetrain like this until spring comes I guess.
Annoyingly my brake levers and grips haven't arrived yet, so still rocking the drop bars.I overhauled and re-installed the Sheffield Sprint 673 pedals too. 50 years old and still running smooth, albeit they are battered.
Sits just below 10 kilos now. -

The Puch is such a gorgeous piece of machinery. I took it for a spin today and once again realized how low its front end sits.
Well... problem solved I guess.

I'll be able to slam the stem a bit with these bars. Gonna chop them down to 48 cm or so.Also heavily thinking about a single speed conversion, but I wanna keep all the 105 bits just in case.
2012 vibes.

Treated myself with a comfy little update on the commuter. 62 cm Ergotec low-riser bars with 10° backsweep and some new ergo grips. Had my first trip yesterday, feels absolutely fantastic, much better than the narrow stock bars this bike had. Bike folds to pretty much the same dimensions so no compromise there.

My almost too good to be true deal on these second hand Pirelli P Zero Race SLs was actually too good to be true. I didn't notice these when I was installing them. Both front and rear are affected. Only the rolling surface though, sidewalls are okay.
I do run them with tubes, I think that can't cause this issue?
I guess these can pretty much fail at any moment now, and I've ridden the bike three times since I installed the tyres... Or should I stop worrying about it? Never seen this before. -

Grabbing every chance I can to ride this one.
