Did you have to hack/bodge anything with the top tube-mounted cables? Their site specifically says one can’t use a bike with them but looks like you’re good?

also very happy with mine - I have only seasoned with 500g of beans so far and its already noticeably better than the Super Jolly I had before.

Haven't tried using it wide open for filter yet as I have a Comandante for that.

Overall seems quite well built

I had a super jolly off eBay and then the Daniel Wong mod. Had it for about 9 months and in the end got fed up of the camera blower + spraying fines around my worktop as a consequence.

Totally see why many people are very satisfied with it but I took a chance with the new big timemore on kickstarter and sold the SJ off.

If I had the same money again I’d look instead for a Eureka probably or try and stretch to the Niche but YMMV
