Lets not forget that Nusrat Ghani didn’t name any names originally, it’s was him who identified himself as the person who didn’t make these comments.
I’m not surprised that the Tory’s are racist, it’s very much part of there USP, perhaps that why they get a free pass. But for some reason I’m still surprised by how stupid they are.

Can you imagine the world going into melt down if Labour had promoted somebody who was accused of antisemitism.
-
if someone electable replaces him? Maybe Rishi?
Rishi isn’t going to hold together there 2019 coalition of voters. he’ll appeal to some well off centrists, but the red wall brexit voters, no chance for obvious reasons, there not going to switch back to Labour they’ll just not vote, like they did election before. So Labour will take back most of those seats.
Also the cost of living crisis is going to be laid at his door. There also a very good chance he’s pictured in some of those 300 photos which will just reopen party gate again.
I don’t think Johnson is dead yet, he’s still more electable than anybody else they’ve got.

My parents are moving which means I’ve had to collect my mountain bikes. They’ve been mothballed for 12 plus years. First up is my Jericho Leadfoot made in California by Josh Ogle, I’m guessing around 2003/4 back in the days when the £ to $ was 1:2 and some how it made it through customs without a charge too.
Not sure what I’m going to do with it for now the ebb might be totally Stuck, it was always a total pig to work on. My steamroller needs a new headset so I’m removing the king, so it might just be a walk hanger for now.
I walked the South Downs way with it around 2007, that was fun!
Other stuff in the collection, an IF Crown Jewels SS mountain bike, a cotic simple, Bianchi buss and a intense spider.

I'm glad I wasn't imagining the tight tolerance thing with the Goldtecs.
Irwin vice grips large
I've just had to google that, are they what I would have called monkey grips back in the day ? I'm struggling to understand how I could use those with a built up wheel.
This hub was factory fresh when I got it so hopefully there wouldn't be any damage, yet! (my passed experience was on a different hub)
-
-
-
Yeah I did end up using the old bearing but as I say the tolerances meant that it didn't really work. even with the second bearing on top you couldn't hit the face squarely because of the axle being in the way. Its one of those jobs where you need 3 set of hands to hold everything in place, hold the wheel and hit all with a hammer.
As I remember I ended on the with the opposite side of the wheel bottled in to the bike frame on the wrong side of the rear tringle and 3/4 other bearing on top of the new bearing to clear the axle and then using the hub bolt to tighten it down to seat the new bearing in place.
-
I need to replace the bearings on a Goldtec rear hub. I've done it once in the passed but managed to mess up the axle and destroy one of the new bearings, so I'd like to do a better job this time.
The main issue I had was pressing the new bearing in, the tolerances seem tighter than I'm used for bearings and the method I've used in the passed for my phil woods won't work as the axles are solid with the Goldtecs.
I'd like to get a cheap bearing driver kit £20/£25 tops but what should I get ? the concern I have is all the examples I've seen of a bearing driver being used are for hubs which don't need the axel in place when your fitting the second new bearing. So the driver needs to be able to clear the axel end and allow you to apply the pressure required to drive the bearing into place. Hopefully that makes sense ?
Does anybody have any advise / suggest of the best tools to buy ?

Grant Shapps sounding very fed up having to try to defend the PM.
Well he's just going to have to suck it up if he wants that place in the house of lords that he's been promised, if he keeps his mouth shut.
The Bone was on News Night last night, I assume Fabricant must have been busy. Apparently the Bone spent 6 hour canvassing on Saturday, everybody wanted to talk about Ukraine and the cost of living.

“Changes to toe Highway Code are expected to come in this Saturday”
My understanding is there just issuing a new version of the highway code. None of these changes are backed up by any laws its all just highway code optional. The stuff that judges have no problem telling juries to ignore if it helps the defence of a killer motorist.

Yeah, thanks. I can't believe I forgot that the fork was 1.125" So I'm going to need a new lower headset cup whatever I do.
In your experience is there a standard to the inside of the bearing angle with the crown race ? I'd be better off finding a fork which doesn't a have an integrated crown race wouldn't I.

-
Ok, not sure where else to ask this question. I want to put a carbon fork on my surly midnight special. the fork has an integrated headset crown race with a 36 degree contact angle bearing.
The bike currently has a Gusset headset which I don't really want to replace, but it seems impossible to find out that the angle contact is for my current headset, everything I've found seems to refer to the outside angle of the headset (45 degrees)
Can I assume that all headset have a 36degree contact ? this is bikes after all where there are no standards.
