did anyone on here ever race on the wooden 200m track with 45 degree banking in Harlow Essex i used to race their as a school boy/Jr in the mid 80's for the Haverhill Wheelers, that was a proper track not for the feint hear-ted though, great fun. When did it shut down?
I thought all tracks were like that as i used to go to the Skol 6 races in Wembley arena with my Dad in the late 70's/80's was a bit surprised the first time i raced at Herne Hill and Welling garden city velodrome i was like where's the banking.
