I think your regex is wrong - getting rid of the backslash before the 'b' should do it. \b is a special identifier in regular expressions, meaning a workd boundary, so:
if ( ! /buro9$/ (oldUrlPath) ) {

Just caught up on James Illman's (131) twitter feed. This guy is so amazingly upbeat after all the spanners being thrown into his race. I mean, on the evening before the start he fell down some stairs and started riding with a bandaged knee!
