A friend of mine got it from 2dehands.be last summer.
The only reference I've found to the Belgian bike shop sticker on the frame is this . Patrcik Degeyter.
Apparently most likely possibly SL tubing.

~45mm wide
This is a fairly old atb. Anything 2" or more won't fit with mudguards. It'll loose a lot of function without the mudguards.
Yes, Kojaks seem to be the next choice if it's slimmer than 2". Iv'e seen the smaller 35mm one which is already much too slim.
What is the true width for the nomads? And they don't seem to be any lighter than Delta cruisers...
Seems like Kojak or Pasela. Knobby ~45mm 26" tyres would do fine also, especially for winter, but i doubt theres anything like that either.

Winter's coming, so I'm not going to be riding fixed gear for a while.
My track bikes:

Probably going to put some more classic silver parts on this. Don't know anything about the history of this frame (apart from Austin Texas) so I'm quite open on what to do with it.
My race/travel bike. Really needs new wheels. Apart from that I'm super happy with this.
Just put this back together after over a year of being unused. Would like to find a 1" stem for this but it'll be hard to find one in 17deg.
This is nowhere near done. Just slapped on what I had in hand to feel if it rides straight after trying to align the frame. I've got a lot of original parts, but it's all pretty shit, so they wouldn't make the bike very nice to ride. -

This is one of my atbs. Not very fast, but a good weather doitall.
I'd like to try some Paselas, as they seem to be one of the only ok choices for a light puncture protected slick 26" tyre (looking for 45-50mm)ps. ^^^^^^nice bridgestone -would be perfect if it could still fit some full length mudguards

Since this thread was upped, here's my Roberts I built for last years L'eroica italy.

More photos here
Im pretty happy with the build, just needs correct campag seatpost and I'd like to have a supercorsa instead of the brooks

39t on the front. Something to 32t cassette.
It's an 8 speed drivetrain from an atb I updated to 10spd.
Normal chainring, but I luckily got the chainline spot on. I'm not wilding with this bike so I doubt ill be dropping the chain. Anyway I'm planning on putting a double on the front.
