I got loads of sets of SRAM S500 levers all missing hoods if any use.

For that money I'd keep an eye on the likes of Orbit, Graeme Weigh and Nigel Dean. I've had frames by each of those, all acquired for peanuts and perfectly decent. Often come with rad, if a bit agricultural paint too.

There's a Weigh on eBay at the moment which is a good example.
