^ that's a nice price, but in case folks are not aware, that's the Link Glide version, which will not work with the normal Hyper Glide cassettes AFAIK.

Lots of Holdsworth frame number dating info and catalogue pics on the web. Factory built frame (tell by the pop rivets) so not too special. Not cast lugs, so that adds to the interest. 531 was the top tubing at that time, for UK builders at least.

Yes, a nice find for the right person. But it's a tough market for mid range road bikes now - folks don't go past £100 unless it's a keeper.
Ouch, it sold for £53, that's obscenely cheap !

I've just notice that this ^ appears to be an aheadset fork, with a quill stem fitted, how's that achieved ? I'm currently using a VO ahead stem on one of mine, but it just doesn't look right to my traditionalist eyes.

Mine arrived today, and although L, don't seem big enough for my 10.5's. Interested to hear what others think.
Looking at the box it says L = EU 43-45 or UK 10-12 ... Well there is something wrong there, as 43=9 and 45=10.5 !?

I've found Sealskins work perfectly, and even with holes in (I have armour-piercing toes) they work like a wet-suit, retaining the heat. I'm as happy with them as I am disappointed in GoreTex ... POS.
I've ordered 3 pairs of the Polaris for £27 posted to try, and if they don't work for me, then at least that's Christmas sorted for a couple of friends ;-)
