Since when did polo become so bloody regimented? I'm having nothing to do with booking it and to be honest I couldn't give a shit about Herne Hill any more. I don't really understand why the rules were changed other than to accommodate for the afternoon kid's session, in which case we were always more than co-operative – up until then no one ever booked that space at the weekends. Please don't reply with an argument to this because I'm on the side of polo so I don't want to argue with any of you guys especially not through a keyboard.

I don't understand why it'd be a dick move if we just booked it. It guarantees we have the court and if we didn't manage to get the numbers and don't turn up I'm sure they wouldn't think twice about occupying the space.

Found this the other day on my travels next to Loughborough Junction station. Huge court (Herne Hill size, if not bigger), decent surface, recessed goals, A couple of seating area bits to chill in when you're not playing. It does have gaps where the gates are and the seating areas but will be no worse than playing at somewhere like Newington. Could be worth a go.
