Really need to clear some garage space so this is going to have to go. Not sure if there will be any interest in such an old/bit crappy bike, but maybe someone would use it to go to the pub and stuff.
Not taken a picture yet but basically it's this bike...

...but with no chainset/pedals/chain/saddleJust putting it out there for anyone that might be interested, no idea what it's worth so I'm open to any offers at all, needs to be gone :-)

Just after suggestions really, trying to build up a fixed hill climb bike and really struggling to find a light rear wheel. I have no need for 36spokes and 400g hubs :P so far the lightest fixed rear wheel I've found is 990g :-/ My road bike wheel is only about 700g so there must be better options out there...

This is the fork:
https://www.dolan-bikes.com/bike-components/bike-forks/alpina-ud-carbon-track-fork-gloss-with-brake-hole.htmlI really don't know what to ask for the fork, £60 + P&P?

Not really sure if there's any demand for these, but basically I have some Alpina UD track forks I got but then went with something else. £110 for Dolan, but basically make me an offer I guess? For pictures and whatnot just look on the Dolan site. I think the rake is 35mm and the steerer is 25cm but I'll check that. Oh and they are drilled.

Bought a Dolan Pre Cursa but having ridden around on it I've come to realise that I'd be more comfortable on a slightly large frame so have bought a 60cm. Included in the sale is the frame itself, the alpine track fork, the alpine seat post and the headset. Oh and it's gun metal grey. It looks as new EXCEPT for a tiny chip (roughly 1mm in diameter) of paint came off - it came like that when I got it.
Anyway I just thought I'd see if there was any interest on here before I put in on eBay.
£160 inc. P&P? I'm open to offers anyway just give me a shout :)

Hello,
I'm a big fan of Continental Tempo II tyres on the track - or at least on my local track which is a tarmac outdoor track (Middlesbrough). Recently been doing more and more indoors so was looking at other tyre options (Vittoria Pista CS, Dugast, etc), anyway while looking at other Continental options I was checking out the Sonderklasse II, is the only difference the size - 22mm vs 23mm?

So I'm building up a single speed and the only wheels I have spare are some Mavic Ellipses. Only used them a few times on the track so would be a good idea to put them to use, but on closer inspection they have an anodised brake track. Do they work ok with brakes? This is just a cheapy single speed build so do you guys think :
- Use the Mavics, they'll be fine.
- Sell the Mavics (£?) and just buy some cheapy fixed wheels (saw some I like for £70).
- Use the Mavics, they'll be fine.
Just having a bit of a clearout, I'm selling a few bits and bobs. Prices include P&P but I'm open to offers if you think I'm wide of the mark. I don't really have pictures right now but hoping to add some tomorrow.
Alpina Bars (33cm). They look like new aside from some clamp marks where the stem goes on. Odd as it's the only time I've used a torque wrench and it's the only time the stem has left a mark on some bars. Was after £100
Pair of Weinmann SP17 wheels. Nothing to report really, they're in good condition but they're just basic wheels, nothing exciting. £50 - pain in the bum to post so probably for collection only I guess.
Miche Pistard Air cranks - 165mm. Taken off my track bike. They've not seen much use but just went with something else in the end. They are 24mm spindle (I used a normal DA BB). They've had the logos removed with acetone so are plain black. £100
Sugino Zen (Black) 55T. As black but was going on a stealth frame so I painted it black to hide the logos and whatnot. It was the only zen I had that was black and recently got a silver one, so this is surplus. £50
