It will be hard not to flood this with photos. But somethings I've noticed about the frame:
Not too much pinch on the post bolt
The fork shape and clearance

. Including this one I've only ridden four frames and as for quality this one is up with witcomb. as for me riding it the saddle is creeping down a little, as I think about changing the crank from 172.5mm to 170mm, and the steering is coming nicely from the frame. One change that there is are nitto 006 which were ordered late after loseing my phone with not much more thought than they would fit the stem clamp

not sure if I am trying to hangon too much by wanting to use these

I have a feeling this may be quite slow project I picked up frame fork and rear wheel a week last wednesday with some wild thoughts of what to do which rapidly cooled off once I was with the frame.
It is a very well crafted frame, atm I'm supposed its SLX tubing, data will be added here once collected e.g. frame weight a measurement or two.
The ultimate plan is to set it with gears, once over the joy of riding it fixed and getting ideas, this will be a stage proses in changing first with bars stem and calipers.
For the brakes in style I was thinking side-pull Athena.
The bars and stem are made a bit more complicated by having leavers I want to use, 20mmø bar end internal routing, I'd be interested to see what Argos say about a modification or someone knowing the right bars.
As a rough guide wheels; Mavic 126OLD to CP19 32h narrow rim.
Cranks gearing; 170mm 10speed I do like older Miche & campag victory.
Saddle Brooks.I know how all this can all change into what can be done
all be it tatty on paint and scrapes for now with a headset service & some bolts it has been set up with spares for more or less carpark duty's while I get a sense for it.

these for the pin cup
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/park-tool-adjustable-pin-spanner-spa6/rp-prod17509
and this is white grease
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/park-tool-polylube-1000-grease-ppl1/rp-prod13883correct if there is better

I sat on the same dilemma for some time (also throw-in and ruled out a export frame) for the many reasons went for the Bob better paint more 631 flex forks intended to have a brake not fancying OS tubing and then the upgrades, arrowhead lug and 725 triangle, after which it hit £blah & no complains // also no toe over lap 73º head angle I missed that at first
