I think pasteurized eggs are an American thing, where they are even less stringent on healthy flocks and just clean the eggs to eliminate salmonella at the end. Compared to the vaccination of birds etc in UK/EU.

@hugo7 Are you buying cooked eggs? That's what pasteurisation would do surely?
The lion is to show they exceed the law (quite a low bar to pass) on chicken welfare.

Why? There's less than 1/2million who have had two doses, from https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/vaccinations
It looks like they are 2nd dosing 2-5000 a day. Changing the second dose to be more effective takes 4 weeks, so thats another 140, 000 2nd dosed.
There is no evidence that existing vaccines are INEFFECTIVE against the new variants. (The last time I looked). The SARS-CoV-2 vaccine produced by the US biotechnology company Novavax is 95.6% effective against the original variant of SARS-CoV-2 but also provides protection against the newer variants B.1.1.7 (85.6%) and B.1.351 (60%), preliminary data from clinical trials show.
To put that in perspective, the flu jab varies between 40% to 60% effectiveness depending on the variant.

Reduced effectiveness is not the same as ineffective.

They've played the 'In our contract it is not specified any country, or the UK, has priority because it signed earlier. If this was the case AstraZeneca should've proposed a clause...acknowledging that they would prioritise for example deliveries to the UK.'
I doubt it's specified that they get it first either.

People providing the care don't care about making sure the stats tally. They will be looking for positive outcomes. It's basically become part of the routine pathway now.
Also, there are specific ICD10 codes for use in patients being treated for covid, I'd be amazed if these are the codes being used to populate the datasets. It's more likely the serial numbers for the Positive/Negative tests are collated. -

Personally, I think the general population does need to share some of the blame as well I'm afraid. Eating in at a place offering takeway meals, taking a flight for a holiday7, meeting big groups for Christmas were all personal choices. My partner's anxiety has got so bad, she's developed compulsive hand gelling every 5 minutes, and it pissed me off when I saw people sat inside pubs etc. ( the people sat inside pissed me off, not partner.)

Possibly linked already on this thread, there is a video of him blowing his nose and then wiping that hankerchief all over his face. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q52TpXrbOz4

@GoatandTricycle Something similar to the Nitto metal hoop? Unless filling it with heavy things, it's not really needed. Have a look at myriad of bar bags from cottage industries for inspiration.
Two feedbags could be another option depending on daughter's age.
