Plan on building myself a pair of track wheels in new year with some 36h Dura Ace track hubs - should I be looking to build them up as 3 or 4 cross?
Think that 4 cross looks better, which is about the limit of my wheel building knowledge, but is there any reason that 3 cross would be preferable on these hubs? -

Thanks Boredom, confirms what I thought after grabbing the tops of a set - that's possible to hold them near the clamp area but riding on the tops isn't hugely secure or even that comfortable. Usually stay in position once on the track though so not really an issue.
They're out of stock pretty much every atm but lets see what offers January brings -

I'm considering getting some narrow / aero bars for my track bike - looking at either the Scatto 35cm or Alpina 33cm. I can get the drops of either bar as low as I require so it's really down to the aero/width benefits of the two. I currently ride 36 on the track so going narrower shouldn't be too much issue.
I've spoken to a couple of people and am learning slightly towards the Scatto but does anyone here have experience of either or both? Interested to hear from anyone with any advice that would help me choose one over the other. -
Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that one. Available from @cycleclinic too I believe.
Are there any others? -

I bought these carbon wheels off ebay with the hope of easily removing the logos from the rims, however it seems that they aren't simply vinyl decals that will peel off but are either printed on or perhaps applied using some other method.
Does any know of any way to remove them safely?
If it's not possible does anyone know where you can buy 'blank' wheel stickers?

So with the hill climb season now over for me attention can return to something a bit weightier...
It ain't no show pony but does ride nice even if it is twice the weight of my HC bike. Surprisingly spritely ride, springs up hills in time with standing on the pedals and the steering is quick even with a 10cm stem. Really enjoying it so far.

Had a puncture first time test riding 5 mins from home with the Corsa G+'s so swapped for some old Pavés - think the greenwalls actually go quite nicely with this frame.
The Sora 9sp front derailleur has a bit of rub at either extreme with the 105 chainset - Shimano doesn't list them as being compatible so not sure if much can be done other than adjusting as best as I can and living with it. BB flexes under pressure but it's more than that. Really impressed with R3000 in all other respects and can live with 9sp 12-25 up in the Peak District even with the extra weight.
Still to Kurust and touch up the paintwork but it has had an internal coat of frame protect so should be good for a while.
Full size frame pump next?

Apologies for the spam but my 52cm Pre Cursa frameset just might be of interest to someone here -> https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/310415/

Thanks for the tip, have ordered some Kurust for the spotting but will pop a torch down the tubes to see what's going on.
Have moved images over to imgur from google photos so this time they should be working.

DA7600 - the high flange ones.
Incidentally, what is the benefit of low flange track hub, weight?
