I've yet to start playing around with doing anything in post yet really, beyond basic straightening. Want to learn to do as much in the camera first, before I then start thinking about editing.

For the few months I've been taking photos I've done monochrome / jpegs. Though literally tonight I was chatting with a much more experienced photographer who said I'm better shooting raw and converting.

I think it's personal taste. I know for me, so far, if I know I'm shooting BnW I look at things differently and take better pictures because of it.

I really like the texture of that. Good shot.

I'm kind of the opposite of you. I'm 6'3 but built like Mr Tickle - super limbsy. And, this was my first MTB after riding road and gravel, so hard for me to make comparisons to anything. The reach was fine though, like I say I can't make comparisons but can't say I ever really noticed the 'extreme' geometry that it's supposed to have. Apologies, don't feel like I've actually been any help.

Some shots from a small area of Leeds last night. Originally went through for the shot of the car park and street, but couldn't get it looking how I wanted it in my head. Quite like the skyscraper one though.

@Well_is_it I really like that middle shot of the building and the sky.
