tldr; I need new cranks for a fixed 1975 shopper, any tips/advice/recommendations?

Atm, I've still got the original 170mm 48t cottered crankset on my Dawes Kingpin shopper, but the left arm is finally giving up and I wanna overhaul the drivetrain to run 48/14 fixed.
I'm making the new rear wheel from an On-One flip-flop track hub that I have spare, but I'm pretty clueless on what new crankset to get.

I have frame clearance for the 2t upgrade, but I don't know about getting a decent chainline.
I was trying to decide between a Shimano Road set (600s or some Hollowtech II magic), Sugino RD2s with messenger ring or the Andel fluted track crankset. But they seem to all have different pros and cons and require different length BBs depending on frame/rear hub etc.

Can anyone tell me where/what I need to measure to get this right or just give me any general advice on anything I've mentioned above?
