It's only running Big Sur but that one runs perfectly fine without any crashes or malfunctions. I want to upgrade it to Monterey but my partner won't let me out of lazyness

I have an older 2012 Air that officially is not supported by Big Sur but there are workarounds to that. My partner is using that for over a year without any issues. Monterey should also work

To all the fixie skidders out there, the question that has been bothering me since I started riding fixie: do bmx pedals and straps keep the shoes clean(er)?
Basically all my shoes look like these thanks to the leather straps, and since I'm heading towards adulthood I feel like that's something I should change.

40-50nm

Isn’t hat equal to torquing with 40-50 kg and a 1 m wrench? To my knowledge you shouldn’t grease the crank bb interface to prevent the crank arm slide too far onto the spindle. Making me think 50 Nm could be too much.
Anyway, a 10 cm Allen key gave me another quarter of rotation on the screw, hope that will help!

Yeah, of course. By now to a point that I can’t tighten it any further with the leverage I have using a mini tool

@HK_Berlin I did not really check but the screw screws in smooth so I‘d say the threads are alright. But I’ll check it out!

@Heldring isn’t that the one thing you shouldn’t grease?

My nds crank arm started to get loose like a week ago out of nowhere and I have to retighten the screw basically every second day since then. I've been running the crank bb combination for 5 years now and never had any issues.
Is there anything I can do or is it time for a new crank?
