Splitting my Yellow Neil Orrell - A banana split?

I'm sad to say that the time has come for me and my Neil to part ways. @haveo (my bestest buddy) and I bought Neil Orrell frames to be matchy matchy buddies but unfortunately the frame isn't quite the right fit for me so sadly we must part ways.

I'm saving the wheels, pedals and brake for myself

Bought this disc from eBay for £205
Apologies for the crappy photo

Did I pay the right price?

Yeah the disc is crazy light! I could slam the stem (probably will for photos in the future) but those few mm mean I can ride it a hell of a lot easier

This is the weight of the build currently

The disc arrived!
I also put the SR Crankset on with a 45T ring
The rear is 15T
I think I'm going to get a 50T ring however because it's still a little spinny for me and I prefer the bigger gears, that said, I might fiddle the gear so I can have the rear tyre as close to the frame as possible since smaller clearances = rad

The disc is fast

My list of parts still to go is seatpost, record aero brake lever, pedals and new tubs
I'm also tempted to rebuild the front wheel - same hubs and rim just with shiny new spokes but I feel like it's not a major job that needs doing

Finally this is a crap photo of the other side of the homemade disc

The bar end brake is an absolute nightmare to use on these bars, I can't wait to sort an aero brake out for it

Is this a 650c front or a 24" front?

Best way to bring a bit of life back to disc pads is to scrub them in a figure of eight pattern on medium grade sand paper
The pads (if they get hot) can sometimes glaze over and the glaze can be easily scrubbed off with sand paper or a file

I bought this bike a while ago for my brother to commute on
He used it for some time, then had a huge growth spurt and is now over 6' so this bike doesn't fit anymore!

It is pretty much all original from when it was first built
The only components that have been changed are the saddle, cables, brake blocks and tape
Beside that it's all original
It features Sachs Huret shifters and gears
Weinman brake levers and calipers (730)
There are matching steel mudguards that come with this - they are a bit battered and have quite a large dent to the back of the front one - I'm happy to take these off and post without

There are small rust spots over the frame and wheels and matching muguards
With a bit of TLC this bike could look really swish again

It's currently in a small town near Coventry
I'd like £120 for it posted to your door
I'll post some better photos soon
