As it would happen I have a Devil's Ivy that an old house mate gave me, I also have a Spider Plant runner, that I potted, that my Uncle gave to me.
And @hanford something that drains easy, they don't like to be sat in water or else the roots start to get rot in them

I really like house plants and the last active house plant on here is 7 years old.
I'm gonna post a couple of my project pics and stuff and maybe in the future also some of my plants for sale or trade.
Since my kitchen in windowless I have an Ikea Vaxxer thing, which is supposed to be used for growing lettuce and stuff in water, I've opted to use it as a mini nursery.
So here's my collection:
In the back is a couple of Fuchsia Bonsai projects, one of which is being grown into a cascade pattern. There's also an air plant hanging in the back.
Here's another bonsai (Ficus)
And finally here's a Ficus Bonsai "forest" project. I've had a some Ficus Benjaminas and they'be been really fucking annoying and refused to be "proper" bonsai trees, so I made this as a last ditch attempt to keep them alive.

I think those look cool because they're yellow with a black border - I worry that white on black might not pop quite as much as above

Don't know how keen I am on the white seat cluster, but I'm having trouble envisioning what you mean...

LFGSS is a fantastic place for riders supporting other riders. I think it would be nice to mention some of the excellent things that people do on this forum for other people. A bit of a "That made my day"/"They did me a solid" thread.

Literally any bike shop will give you one for free. Where I work we throw more away than our bin can handle, so when you take boxes it does us a favour.

For shuddering cantis best bet is to go from steerer mount to fork mount -Did this to my Dad's Tricross, he said it made him re-fall in love with it
EDIT: Don't know how feasible that will be on with bike with the decouplers and all

@M_V my pompetamine had that and when I needed to derail the chain to remove the wheel it was a pain, because you had to remove the brake to be able to slide the wheel forward...

@Howard - that was Plan B - I have two tandems so I know my way round an eccentric BB
@negaatio will probably put a bouncy fork on wheel I can afford one...

Hate to go all "amey" on everyone, and build a bike around one component but I have a 29" wheelset that I built for a project, that I didn't complete. So I have a fairly nice 29" single speed wheelset that I want to use on a single speed mountain bike. The main problem I have with horizontal drop outs is the awkward "getting the wheel out/taking the brake off" when you puncture.
My current fav is this
It has an eccentric BB, and looks alright - does anyone have any better suggestions to consider?
