A bit niche, but after some BBB aluboys and/or Hope Jockey wheel covers/shields/spacers, if anyone has some knocking around?

You feel smug when you’ve succeeded though :) v1 P20s plus Veloflex Corsas were the toughest mount I’ve ever done, it’s true.

If the tester-approved option isn’t available for some reason, you could also try DCR rims (rated, but I’ve not tried) or Ambrosio P20s (cheap and decent, but probably unavailable in your preferred drilling).

Had the tub version and they were fairly susceptible to punctures. Time/technology may have moved on though.

On the other hand, I expect you don’t have to put up with garden parties until 4am, so there’s a lot to be said for Germany’s approach to law enforcement.

Depends whether you think a canti cross bike is worth more or less than a road equivalent, only you and the buyer could say!

Either way, I think you said you’d paid £1350 for it, which puts it well out of my range. Lovely bike though.

Both this and Wim’s above are very tempting, but I’ve got a feeling the cross at least was too rich for my blood.

Actually, having said that, if someone else wants it I’m happy to step aside.

Turns out it is pretty punchy! I had some from another vendor, but must have been roasted quite differently. Will try blending it. I mentioned in the shop that I knew it wasn’t to everyone’s taste and he agreed, but pointed out it was on the milder end of the dark roasts. Wild.
