In the earliest of 00's there were prospects of a Lebanese street race before Rafic Hariri was assassinated, Paul Ricard being modified to replace Magny-Cours (I haven't watched a full season since the engine formula change and I just saw the Paul Ricard wiki that it has returned last year), a Swedish GP in Kalmar, Brands Hatch, Donington Park or a London street race to replace Silverstone. 1999 was the first season I watched and I feel spoiled. Alex Zanardi, Mika Hakkinen crying at Monza, Michael Schumacher breaking himself off. The sound. Suzuka that year. I don't think I've seen a better season. I'm biased tho, I was a Mika fan from that moment on and that 2002 Belgian GP was amazing. Same year I got into CART and damn what a series that was too. Greg Moore, Gonzalo Rodriguez RIP

Got a flat down las palmas after my 5th? attempt to reach the top. My limit is this one retorno. I do have a 44t I could use. We’ll see. I leave soon anyway. Good times. I love Medellin. Guatape roads are amazing. Caldas amazing. La Estrella amazing. Itagui amazing. Mango and Lulo Hit is addictive. Burger Chef is bomb.

Bike shops that cater to fixie foos? I'm sending a bike before I fly out in April, fingers crossed, and won't be able to buy foot retention (straps preferably) until I get there.

Never had omniums kinda bummed. I’d rather by a better square taper bottom bracket and new chainring for the Fuji, or install the omnium on my big block frame. Ehh.

Halp! I got my bike built sometime ago at King Kog. Great shop btw. Was told my SRAM Omnium doesn’t clear so, I went with an old stock Fuji crankset. Yesterday, I went to a local triathlon shop to see if there was a quick solution. The mechanic added spacers. I couldn’t tell you on which side, how many, or what length. Everything seemed fine after my test ride, and then I noticed hard clicking after skidding (not always) and pedaling after trackstanding (first pedal stroke). The chainring bolts rub in those instances. I’ve been seeing the Trek T1 (2012?) model I own on IG with SRAM Omniums and would like to solve this issue. Local tri shop is not fixie oriented. I’m going to leave the bike alone in the meantime. * not the best photos
