I think to some extent it comes down to the ability to effect the outcome of stage. Most car/bottle interaction is unlikely to have much impact on a stage, and where it has, it is more likely to be penalised.
I think here, in a team time trial where every second will effect your leader's GC chances, and the rule is pretty clear and easy to police, you've got what's coming to you. In this case, they won by two seconds. Who's to say those little pushes didn't make all the difference?
Once they decided there was a contravention it boggles the mind how they thought they could make up a sanction different to what is clearly stated in the rule book.

Monster helmet article on the Guardian today: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2017/mar/21/bike-helmet-cyclists-safe-urban-warfare-wheels
Sums the debate up pretty well. Very comprehensive. Some interesting findings in the various studies. This one particularly:
In contrast, the tabard saying “polite” saw the nearest average overtaking distance and almost twice as many potentially dangerous passes as “police”.

I don't believe it's the same as Caster Semenya, however I'm sure no two cases in this area are ever the same.
Jeska had not made anyone aware she had been born a man, and then competed as a women. When she was going to compete internationally all of this was going to come out, and she was going to be stripped of her previous titles.
Caster Semenya, was not, as I understand, formally born a man.
The debate is around those who sit at the edge or across the gender divide. Sport is not well equipped to deal with these sensetive subjects so it's not going to go away. -
they tend to obey red lights and wait at junctions in the driver's blind spot."
I'd want to see the evidence gathering for this conclusion. Also seems to suggest most guys are just RLJing to safety. Perhaps @Skülly is right after all.

In my mind it goes something like a Durano/marathon supreme type thing for high mileage but still niceish. Gravelking with the file tread is the go to more supple option, but you lose some mileage and then you end up with Corsa Gplus whatnots for all the suppleness but not the same longevity.
Everything is a compromise. More supple=less miles, but I'm sure you know that.

Exactly. In this case, just about forgivable as he was up front that he's testing the water. That said, what we want to avoid is the auctioning of stuff for the highest price. Offers north of £200? What does that mean? £201 and you'll wait to see if anyone else bites?
Just put a price, and then drop it if you want to sell and it hasn't. -

Just grab any old gxp mountain bike crankset. The old Stylo ones are cheap as chips, plenty stiff enough for this type of application and weight isn't gonna be top of your priority list (not that they're that porky).
Cheap option

In the future, it would be a good idea to do some of this before you put something up for sale for a not inconsiderable amount of money.
There is this thing called Google. Let me tell you, it is amazing! You can type stuff in like "how to measure a bike frame" and "deddacia em2" and it tells you all about it.
This will help with all sorts of stuff in your life. Enjoy! GLWS

The bolts shouldn't touch the post should they? The two bands just tighten around the post and the bolts should be short enough so they stay shielded by the plastic of the unit itself.
My alternative to the carradice when I've got less to carry is a full length top tube bag. I managed to pick up a home made forum option which works well if not packed too full (otherwise it brushes my legs):
